And What About Hosting?
To follow-up the post earlier this week on domain registration, I thought I’d share my strong opinion on hosting. By far and away my favorite web host if HostGator out of Houston, Texas.
HostGator support is outstanding, their service is fantastic — and their prices are quite low. Now, of course our recommendation is to take us up on the offer for free hosting and a complimentary domain name along with one of our web site maintenance packages — but if you’d rather roll your own solution, we’d still like to help. Where to Register Your Domain
I get asked every now and again where to go to register a domain name. For the last five or six years the only place I have used is a firm called NameCheap. They have been great to work with in all this time and all the services I’ve used from them have been rock solid. You can get domains for under $10 a year and it only takes a few minutes.
